Most job hunting advice is wrong and incomplete.
It is simple as that.
.

My methods will surprise you. Here you are given practical advice on every aspect of job hunting: seeking employment, resumes, interviews, manners, references, company research, answering newspaper ads and ethical industrial espionage, all are covered here in detail.

Successful job hunting consists of much more than just writing a Resume. This web site covers all aspects of your job hunting efforts.

This site is free with no begging for money and no advertising. I designed the web site and wrote all the contents for the joy of helping you confidently and efficiently look for work. Looking for work with few job hunting skills is frustrating, time wasting, and worse of all, a depressing task.

The site is based on my experience in engineering and manufacturing management. I hired various levels of staff, engineers, and supervisors over a period of forty odd years, did the occasional job hunting myself, and was professionally trained how to hunt for a job. The site is written in the first person, as it is I who have experienced job hunting both from the hiring and applying for jobs.

Whatever your work experience I recommend reading the pages in the order presented. Useful advice is found in all pages regardless of your just entering the job market or being an experienced manager.

Questions and comments are welcomed.

An apology:

The correct spelling is “resumé” not “resume.” But the real world has difficulty with typing the é. Google searches a lot for “resume” and rarely for “resumé.” Wanting smartjobhunting.com to be found by those searching I to have succumbed to the Internet ways.

To demonstrate your English abilities you may want to consider spelling it properly. é is achieved by Alt 0233 on the number pad.
